Spread the Word.
IN YOUR SCHOOLWe need your help to spread the word about our movement in your school. If you’re a student, teacher, or administrator, you know the important role that Catholic education plays in your life. It’s time to share that message with the entire school community. Here’s four ways you can help grow our
movement.

Make a school announcement after ‘O Canada’.
Get the attention of the whole school! Use the morning PA announcements to share the message with the entire school.

Note: This can be read by either teachers or students.
Reader 1: Is there a community builder in your school? Someone who you can always count on to be a friend, help a lending hand and include everyone?
Reader 2: The Ontario Catholic Trustees’ Association is looking for our school’s community builders to help celebrate our Catholic schools here in Ontario.
Reader 1: You can nominate anyone at school – your classmate, teacher or staff member for a chance to be featured on the Togetherinfaith.ca website.
Reader 2: Together, we are building communities of faith every day at school.
Reader 1: Go to Togetherinfaith.ca, and signup for our campaign and tell us about a community builder in our school.
Dear Parents,
As you know, the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association (OCSTA) provides the provincial voice for elected Catholic school trustees to promote and protect publicly funded Catholic education. The OCSTA has launched a new campaign to strengthen support of Catholic education in Ontario.
As members of our school community, we are distinctly together in faith. We cannot complete our mission without you – the parents who support us.
By choosing to send your children to Catholic schools, you are igniting our faith in action and building our faith community while producing graduates who are collaborative contributors to the common good of society.
Catholic schools have been part of Ontario communities for over 170 years and play a vital role in the province.
We’d like to invite you to sign up and join in strengthening our community of support for Catholic education in Ontario. You can sign up for this new initiative by visiting www.togetherinfaith.ca.
Thank you for continuing to choose Catholic education. We look forward to continuing this journey together.
Send a letter home with your students.
The best way to speak up for Catholic Education is to do so yourself! Send a letter home with students calling on parents and families to join our movement. Here’s an example of a quick letter you could write.
Feel free to share your own reasons for supporting Catholic education.
