After a survey of 8,000 Canadians, the Niagara Catholic District School Board was chosen as one of Canada’s best employers by Forbes.
“We believe in empowering and supporting our talented staff to expand their horizons, inspiring them become leaders who make an impact on the lives of all students very day, and in celebrating their success,” said Director of Education John Crocco.
Forbes surveyed employees from companies with 500 or more employees from both private and public companies and organizations and asked them if they would recommend their workplace to others. The companies were chosen and ranked based on the amount of recommendations they received.
“Niagara Catholic strives to be a caring, inclusive workplace, and this honour is a testament to that. It is gratifying and humbling to know that our staff and community think so highly of Niagara Catholic,” said Frank Fera, chair of the board.
The school board, which serves over 22,000 students at 49 elementary schools and 8 secondary schools, joins notable companies such as Google, Cirque du Soleil, the Royal Bank of Canada and the University of Toronto on the illustrious list.
Please join us in congratulating the Niagara Catholic School Board on being named one of Canada’s top employers and for demonstrating why publicly-funded Catholic schools are an integral part of our society.
