The Kenora Catholic District School Board and the Northwest Catholic District School Board launched a video showcasing a collaborative project called The Impact of Learning Technologies.

The project was created to study the impact of technology on student learning over an eight-month period. Approximately 800 students of different ages and 150 teachers participated in the research initiative.

“The opportunity and learning experience that resulted from our partnership with the Northwest Catholic District School Board has been invaluable,” said Jamey Robertson, Innovation and Creativity Coordinator at Kenora Catholic District School Board. “I am looking forward to building future partnerships and creating opportunities for regional knowledge sharing that furthers student achievement.”

The video captures comments from teachers and students, focusing on how technology has impacted their educational learning experiences and school communities.

The two school boards are committed to continuing to work together to advance educational experiences and unite the community. In fact, there is already a plan in place for a future collaboration between the two boards and a partnership with Lakehead University.
