Students Recognized With Bravo Breakfast Awards in Prescott-Russell

Four Students from the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario received Bravo Breakfast Awards at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in Russell.

Each year, the CDSBEO celebrates the contributions, achievements, and successes of their most outstanding students. The Bravo Breakfast Awards provide a public forum to honour these students for their ongoing contribution to their school system, and Catholic communities. The awards commend the unsung heroes in our schools who make a significant and positive contribution to the life of their school. These students contribute to creating a positive environment for their peers.

This year, students who exemplified the board theme of “Be Holy – Joy Springs from a Loving Heart!” were chosen for the award.

“Thank you for your acts of service – the big things you do that we have noticed and even more importantly, thank you for all of the little things you do that go unnoticed,” said Director of Education, John Cameron.

“Each of you has been a role model of kindness and service to others in your school, church and community. Thank you for making a difference, thank you for your loving heart, thank you for spreading joy in our schools!”

“Please know that your positive contribution enhances the lives of all within your school and your school community,” remarked Trustee Wilson. “You all have a gift that has been given to you by God; cherish this gift and allow it to guide you throughout your lifetime.”
