Growing support for Catholic education starts with a strong relationship with our clergy and our lay community - many of which are alumni of Ontario's Catholic schools. We need your help to grow our movement in your parish. Here are four easy ways you can help:
1Post our flyers on your message board.
Download and print these flyers and leave them in the pews to help us spread the word. They also make great posters for the church bulletin board. Click on the image to download a printable PDF.
2Put our message in your church bulletin.
Putting a message in your church bulletin is a great way to spread the word about our campaign. Here's an example message you can include:
We are distinctly together in faith. Our Catholic education system is designed to offer an inclusive learning environment, fostering spirituality to produce top academic and community-minded graduates.
Our educational mission is the transmission of knowledge and the formation of the whole person: body, mind and spirit.

3Make an announcement to the congregation after mass.
The best way to speak up for Catholic Education is to do so yourself! You can make an announcement to the congregation calling on them to join our movement. Here's an example of a quick announcement you could make. Feel free to share your own reasons for supporting Catholic education:
As you know, the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association (OCSTA) provides the provincial voice for elected Catholic school trustees to promote and protect publicly funded Catholic education. The OCSTA has launched a new campaign to strengthen support of Catholic education in Ontario.
As members of a church community, we are distinctly together in faith. Many of us ignite our faith in action by working, supporting and joining our Catholic education system.
We’d like to invite you to sign up and join in strengthening our community of support for Catholic and faith-based education in Ontario. You can sign up for this new initiative by visiting www.togetherinfaith.ca
